Robyn Schiller qualified to represent Australia by accumulating the most points via competing at CRI's (qualifiers) throughout 2009. Robyn will compete on the 3rd of December in Oklahoma USA, representing Australia. We wish her well. Following is some insight from Robyn who is excited to represent Australian Reining.

The Reining Australia Board inducted 3 recipients at this years Hall of Fame Dinner on the 4th of August in Tamworth. Recipients were Phil & Dot Rodey, founding members of NRHA of Australia. Rick Tranter, Past President, Futurity Winner and Trainer. Docs Defender, Reining Australias Highest Money Earning Reining Horse.

Saturday evening, April 4th, at the Pacific Coast Reining Spectacular held in Gatton Queensland, Warren Backhouse became the first rider to earn over $200,000 in reining earnings in Australia. Warren rode the imported stallion Shiney And Nu to win the Open Futurity with a score of 68 1/2. The win garnered owner Deb Serengen $722 and was enough to push Backhouses earnings into previously unchartered territory.
